The construction activities for reconstruction of the municipal building in the municipality of Kocani are under way within the "Green buildings for common green future" - GREEN 038 project. The GREEN project is financed by the IPA cross-border program between Macedonia and Bulgaria 2014-2020 and is implemented by the Center for development of the East planning region in cooperation with the Regional Administration Blagoevgrad.
During the past months, a façade thermic insulation was installed, the outer windows and doors were changed, the roof was reconstructed, a green roof of the new building was built, the toiletries for persons with disabilities were adapted and a hydraulic lift was installed.
With the completion of all construction works, the municipal building in Kocani upgraded the energy-efficiency class from D to B.
