Development Council of East Planning Region, on 07.02.2014 (Friday) in the municipality Probishtip, held its Seventh (VII) session. Important items on the agenda were:

• Adoption of Annual Action Plan for 2014 to implement the program for development of the East Planning Region from 2009 to 2014;
• Adoption of the Annual Report on the implementation of the Programme for the Development of the East Planning Region 2009-2014, for 2013;
• Discussion about Application of municipality Sveti Nikole for inclusion in the Project for establishing a system for waste management in the IPR;
• Information regarding the meeting in ZELS on the subject "Seven years of failed implementation of regional landfills in the Republic of Macedonia"
• Information for the project "Macedonia-Land of Flowers Country Rose".

The XIII regular Council meeting took place on 02.07.2010 in Radovish. The agenda of the meeting was the following:

• Adoption of the Minutes of the XII Council meeting of the East planning region;
• Presentation of the draft version fo the Study on the possibilities for regulation of the river bed of Bregalnica (mini accumulations, dams, cascades);
• Report on the implemented activities regards ther Study on sustainable development of the organic agriculture production in the East planning region, I and II (first and second);
• Information on the announvced tenders for Projects for development of the East planning region for 2009;
• Information on the implementation of the Contract for financing of the Centre for development of the East planning region for 2010;
• Other.

The Draft version fo the project Study for the possibilities for regulation of the river bed of Breaglnica (mini accumulations, dams, cascades) was delivered to the Council members. The conclusion was that this Study should be looked into by the experts in the municipal departments and deliver the remark sto the Centre for development of the East planning region. The remarks are to be delivered to the consulting company elaborating the Study (URC consulting)  by the end of August 2010.

After the separate Council meetings of the Councild for dvelopemnt of East and South_East planning regions there was the  XVIII (осумнаесеттото) „Regional assembly of Mayors of Btreaglnica-Strumicaregion ” with the following agenda:

• Adoption of the minutes of the XVII (седумнаесеттото) „Regional assembly of mayors of Bregalnica-Strumica region”, held in Pehcevo on 28.09.2009;
• Information on the promotional event of the Iron Curtain Trail (ICT) ;
• Information on the implemnentation fo the 2 projects submitted to GTZ RED by the Centres for RD;
• Information on the promotional events of the regions in Skopje;
• Results of the 2 workshops on Regional Marketing for the East and South-East planning regions;
• Follow up from the activities on the Iron Curtain Trail (ICT);
• Studytrip of the Mayors and managers of the centres from the East and South-East planning region in the cross border region in Bulgaria;
• Other.

The Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning, Mr. Nexhat Jakupi, visited the East planning region on May 26, 2010. The Minister visited Shtip and met with the Mayor of the Municipality of Shtip, Mr. Zoran Aleksov and the Manager of the Centre for Development of East Planning Region, Mrs. Dragica Zdraveva. Then he visited municipality of Karbinci, where he was welcomed by the Mayor, Mr. Vasil Bogdanski, President of the Council for Development of East Planning Region, Mr. Ratko Dimitrovski, and other mayors from the East planning region. After the brief meeting with the members of the Council for the Development of the Eastern Planning Region, the Minister visited the archaeological site Bargala.
