On May 13, 2020, the Center for Development of the East Planning Region and the supervising engineer from MC-Engineering from Vinica introduced the contractor Tehnika DOOEL Radovish, which officially started the reconstruction of the cultural center "Tosho Arsov" in the municipality of Vinica.
The project is implemented with funds from the Program for balanced regional development for 2020 provided through the Ministry of Local Self-Government - Bureau for Regional Development, with additional co-financing by the municipality of Vinica.
With the completion of the construction works, the building located in the central city area will get a completely new facade, the cinema hall and the stage will get a new look, complete reconstruction of the lobby and toilets will be done, as well as replacement of the wall treatments, ceiling and the floor. The Tosho Arsov Cultural Center will be equipped with appropriate multifunctional equipment, which will enable the organization of various cultural and entertainment events.
Putting the Tosho Arsov Cultural Center in full operation will help increase the capacity of the population in the East Planning Region for tourism development by organizing various awareness-raising events and animation to preserve the region's cultural and natural heritage.
The total value of the project is around 16 million denars, and the reconstruction is expected to be completed by November 2020.
