On 04.11.2019, a contract was signed to perform works for "Reconstruction with adaptation of Multicultural Center in Kocani". The realization of this agreement is part of the project "Our Common Past - Path to a Common Future", funded by the INTERREG IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program Republic of Bulgaria - Republic of Northern Macedonia 2014 - 2020.

The project "Our Common Past - Path to a Common Future" has a total budget of 562,353.54 euros, provides for a number of activities and construction works and will be implemented in cooperation with the municipality of Goce Delchev from the Republic of Bulgaria in a period of 24 months.

The reconstruction and adaptation of the Multicultural Center in Kocani will be performed by the economic operator Anol Impex DOOEL Skopje, and the value of the construction works is 261.894.60 euros.

Construction activities envisage solving the problem of moisture in the building by installing waterproofing, installation of completely new plumbing and drainage installation, installation of fire fighting, lightning protection, internet and telephone installation, installation of new ventilation ducts, complete demolition and interior carpentry and installation of completely new PVC doors and windows, complete roof replacement, installation of thermal facade, paint-varnish skiing, training of the attic space for the Multicultural Center needs, installation of completely new floors, change of lighting of the facility and installation and purchase of new video and safety equipment.

Contractor Anol Impex DOOEL Skopje was introduced in the works on 13.11.2019, and the reconstruction and adaptation of the Multicultural Center is expected to be completed in 14 months.
