On the 23.11.2018 the Seventh Session of the Council for Development of the East Planning Region was held in the Municipality of Makedonska Kamenica.
The session was attended by the Minister of Local Self-Government Mr. Suheil Fazliu, the Director of the Bureau for Regional Development Mr. Ramiz Rexhepi, representatives from the University "Goce Delcev" in Stip and the Economic Chamber of Macedonia, as well as representatives of the Center for Public Health and Agency for Food and Veterinary.
The Council of the East Planning Region, through the determination of the priority projects, adopted the Annual list of project proposals for the development of the East Planning Region which will be financed through the Programme for Balanced Regional Development in 2019.
At the meeting, the project task for preparation of a feasibility study for the establishment of the Interregional Technology Transfer Center in the East and Vardar Planning Region, based in Stip, was adopted in accordance with the third scenario of the Pre-feasibility Study. The adoption of this decision was preceded by a brief presentation by a representative from the University "Goce Delchev" from Stip, who highlighted the goals of the project assignment and the results expected from the Study.
The session was also represented on the project, which is implemented through joint cooperation between the Economic Chamber of Macedonia and the Swiss Confederation, "Education for Employment in Macedonia".
Mayors also discussed other aspects that they encounter in their everyday work, as well as the ways for their regional treatment in the direction of improving the lives of the local population.
