On June 12, 2020, in the premises of the Municipality of Stip, an Agreement was signed between the Center for Development of the East Planning Region and Kole Trans from Stip for performance of the works for the project “Better infrastructure for better services - Creating a traffic solution for overcoming the traffic congestion in East planning region ”in Stip.
With the realization of this project, a platform will be built over the river Otinja which will serve for parking vehicles. With the construction of the platform, the lanes on both sides of the river that are now used for parking will be released, and with that the traffic flow to the Clinical Hospital - Stip, Svr Stip, Basic and Higher Public Prosecutor's Office, Basic and Appellate Court will increase. and other regional institutions.
The value of the contract is 17,749,311.00 denars, of which 9,000,000.00 denars are from the funds provided by the Program for Regional Development for 2020, and the remaining 8,749,311.00 denars are co-financing of the municipality of Stip.
