The official award ceremony following the second call for proposals for the Interreg IPA Cross-Border Cooperation Program between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Northern Macedonia was held on July 12, 2019 at the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Works in Sofia, Bulgaria.

The contracts were handed over by the Minister of Regional Development and Public Works of the Republic of Bulgaria Mrs. Petya Avramova and the Minister of Local Self-Government Mr. Goran Milevski.

The Center for Development of the East Planning Region within 24 months will realize the project "Our common past - path for a common future" in which it is the leading partner, while the project partner 2 is the municipality of Goce Delchev from the Republic of Bulgaria.

The total value of the project is € 562,353.54, of which € 315,825.61 is envisaged for the implementation of the activities in the East Planning Region.

The project activities are expected to be implemented by July 2021.
