Centre for Development of East Planning Region on 06.16.2014 signed contracts for the preparing of "Analysis of gaps in environmental data and making a map of the environmental sensitivity of the area of the river basin Bregalnitsa" and "Strategy for development of tourism in the East planning region with action plan (2015 - 2024)".

Author of the "Analysis of gaps in environmental data and preparation of environmental sensitivity map of the area of the river basin Bregalnitsa" will be Dekons - EMA Skopje, while the author of "Strategy for development of tourism in the East planning region with an action plan (2015 - 2024)" will be Idea O.K. 

The making of "Analysis of gaps in environmental data and making a map of the environmental sensitivity of the area of the river basin Bregalnitsa" will enable identification, qualitative analysis and valuation of biodiversity in the region, which will contribute to better preserve and sustainable use. With making of this analysis, database of biodiversity in the river basin Bregalnitsa will be created.

By making the "Strategy for the development of tourism in the East planning region with an action plan (2015 - 2024)", it will be clearify the current situation with tourism in the East planning region, and in further activites with use of the conclusions and directions, this project will offer guidance for future 10-year sustainable development tourism.
