In Ljubljana, Slovenia from 24-25 September 2014 the Final Conference of the Programme for Transnational Cooperation in SEE 2007-2013 was held.. On The Conference, the Centre for Development of East Planning Region was represented by the director Mrs. Dragica Zdraveva and Mrs. Zujica Angelova, the coordinator for the regional development. The programme for transnational cooperation in SEE, includes 16 participating countries: Austria, Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Bulgaria, Croatia, Macedonia, Greece, Czech Republic, Italy, Moldova, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia and Ukraine. This program has the largest number of participating countries between the European territorial cooperation programs. SEE Program has proved as successful tool for improving of the integration and increase cooperation in areas outside the borders of countries and has a real impact on the lives of citizens.

Since 2007, the Programme has published four (4) calls, approved 122 projects with 2,140 partners from 16 countries and a total budget of 245.1 million euros which made ​​a huge contribution to the overall development and territorial cooperation between SEE countries. The conference presented the achievements and opportunities for future European territorial cooperation. There were presented more successful projects with high impact in the field to which they apply, the actual effect on users and add value on transnational cooperation. The conference presented the new program. For the period 2014-2020 transnational cooperation will be covered by three operational programs: the Adriatic-Ionian, Balkna-Mediterranean and Danube program. 4 priorities are determined: Innovation, Environment, Accessibility and Sustainable urban development, and these 14 columns:

1. Inovations, management and policy;
2. Competitive SMEs and support services;
3. Knowledge transfer from small to medium enterprises;
4. Low use of carbon; 
5. Adaptation on climate changes;
6. Protection of nature;
7. Risk management and risk prevention;
8. Employment and demographic changes;
9. Urban development;
10. Cultural resources;
11. Multimodal access to primary networks;
12. Regional mobility;
13. Green transport systems and
14. Access to Quality ICT.

In Part of the conference an exhibition of photographs and video material from the large number of implemented projects was organized; therefore a field visit to the already implemented projects funded by the program was organized, offering the same great experience possibilities for exchange networks for the implementation of future projects of new Programmes for transnational cooperation . The entire conference was broadcast online on the website of SIE (www.southeast-europe.net).
